Hey there, I am Martin. Welcome to Theophagÿst.
I picked up the guitar in the early '90s, and for the past {{years}} years, I've been making music in form or another. It's always been a passion, though I never pursued it professionally - I became a software engineer instead.
In 2019, just before the COVID-19 madness hit, I left the band I'd been playing with. Disillusioned and frustrated by the irking feeling that I was wasting my time, I decided to focus on my own project - something I had started a few years earlier. And that's how Theophagÿst (pronounced [θɪ-ɒ-fə-dʒɪst]) came back from hiatus.
